There is a new page on pragwater called “Irrigation and Drainage Principles – Audio Course”. This page will provide periodic updates with audio clips about various aspects of irrigation. The audio clips are created from my course notes (Irrigation and Drainage Systems) from the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez. The clips are created with Google’s NotebookLM. The format is informal and easy to listen to.

The goal is to promote a greater understanding of irrigation and drainage principles, which hopefully will lead to greater water conservation, increased crop yields, less environmental degradation, and enhanced food security in the Caribbean Region. During this semester (Spring 2026), I will periodically upload new audio recordings, which I hope you will enjoy.
