My interests are in estimating, calibrating/validating, and applying high resolution ground-level solar radiation data (obtained from satellite remote sensing) to solve problems in hydrology. I don’t know much about PV technology, so I will leave that to you experts. FYI, I have noticed that about 90 percent of the people that are downloading our solar radiation data for the Northern Caribbean (https://pragwater.com/solar-radiation-data-for-pr-dr-and-haiti/ ) are using it for PV projects.
Really interesting stuff – been thinking of building my own panel for my shed but not sure whether I will need some help from an electrician in Northampton with the techinical bits. Will it have to be inspected afterwards anyway? Cheers Matt
